Forward roll down a slope
Adaptations
1. Stand on slope, show a crouch position at the start of the roll 2. Place hands flat on slope 3. Put chin on chest 4. Bend arms and slightly straighten legs to start the roll 5. Try to stand up with legs together
Decrease difficulty? Forward roll to sitting Increase difficulty? Forward roll without using the slope
Rock and roll to stand with a bench or partner
1. Rock and roll- start sitting in tuck shape on the mats 2. Knees together, rock back 3. Rock forwards and try to stand either on own or reaching forwards towards a bench or partner 4. Keep feet and legs together throughout
